Treating acne is a process as it requires proper skin care routine and processes. But at times you need to quickly get rid of a pimple popping out of your face, here some quick tips you might want to try.


Honey

Honey has been used as an anti-acne treatment for a very long time. With its fine antibacterial capacities, many anti-acne products on the market add honey in their ingredients. Honey is perfect in killing the germs inside and outside of your skin. It helps cleans and moisturizes the skin and has a mild bleaching effect that prevents scarring. Honey with its detoxifying components has amazing effects when consuming internally or externally. Baking Soda

Lemon

Both anti-acne and anti-aging, lemons do wonders. The acid of the lemon can keep your skin dry and clean plus the vitamin C found in lemon helps in tightening the skin and act as anti-aging. Combine lemon juice with honey to form a paste and apply to the pimple. It will keep the pimple dry and will draw out the pus.


Cucumber

Juiced or grated cucumber can function as a skin toner and astringent. It can lighten up the scar caused by acne and helps in opening the pores to remove oils, dirt and leftover makeup that can cause more acne. Apply a grated or a sliced cucumber over a pimple to reduce inflammation. Leave overnight and notice the pimple fade with less scar.



Garlic

Garlic has antibacterial components and potent medicinal properties that work best with acne treatment. A clove of garlic rubbed into your pimple or a juice extracted from garlic can help treat your acne. Apply directly into your face leave it on for a few minutes then rinse with water. You will notice your acne to be dryer the next day.



Benzoyl Peroxide

This is the most common over the counter treatment for acne. Benzoyl is known for killing acne-causing bacteria and people usually use benzoyl to prevent acne breakouts. For a quick benzoyl treatment, apply a benzoyl peroxide cream on top of your blemishes for a spot treatment, before going to bed.  It's suggested to cover it with a small bandage to make sure that it stays put on your face all night.
