Essential Clear Skin Tips You Should Not Miss

With all the stress and harmful irritants that surrounds us, having clear skin nowadays is almost impossible. But there are certain practices that can help us achieve the almost impossible. Here are some clear skin tips you should not miss if you are aiming to get that clear and healthy skin.

1. Watch What You Eat

There is no doubt that eating healthy foods and green leafy vegetables contributes to your healthy skin. Look for foods with Omega-3 Fatty Acids such as seafood that helps in easing skins inflammation, and foods that are high in antioxidants that protect your skin from sun damage. Foods with Vit C and E are high in antioxidants such as tomatoes and avocados. Green tea and nuts are also high sources of antioxidant.

2. Don't Overwash

If you've read our previous blog, you already know that frequent washing can do more harm than good, as it takes away natural oil, making your skin produce more oils. Instead use a moisturizer after every wash, to give your skin enough moisture to balance the oil and skins natural moisture. Our Acne Stop Gentle Gelhelps you moisturize your skin with less oil while fighting acne at the same time.

3. Clean your Face Before Going to Bed

Forgetting to wash your face before going to bed is a big No-no. You'll be inviting future breakouts if you often do this. Just imagine all the dirt of the day sitting in your face while you sleep. If you are so tired, a cleansing wipes can work sometimes but its always the best to wash your face with a facial cleanser.

You can try our Acne Stop Facial Cleanser that gently removes dirt and makeup while fighting stubborn acne.

4. Sleep Well

When you're sleep deprived, your skin appears to be drier and prone to irritation and makes it faster for your skin to age. We don't want that! So always make sure to get a good shuteye. A good night cream can also do the trick. See our Lighten-up PM Cream to help you get rid of dark spots and reduce pigmentation while fighting acne as you sleep.

5. Use Sunscreen and Serum

A serum which is more concentrated than a cream and a sunscreen to protect your skin from UV rays, that's your secret weapon to clearer and healthy skin. Use a sunscreen to protect your skin from any damages you can get from sun exposure such as wrinkles. And a serum to fight against free radicals and repairs and restore skins moisture.

Check out our Cell Repair Serum that can give your skin a burst of intense and lasting hydration while enhancing skins firmness and elasticity.
